There are so many opportunities to give this year and if you are able to give anything please do! Here are some of my favorite places to give:

Helping People

Food For Life Global
This is one of the best plant-based food charities in the world with affiliates and partners in many countries. I was a volunteer in the late 90’s and have been to their awesome mid-day meal program for school children in India

Your Local Food Bank
Here in Austin, TX, this is the Central Texas Food Bank.

Americares
This highly-rated charity provides medicine and aid all over the world.

Donors Choose

Directly support a teacher and classroom. Find one in your community. This one is just plain fun and you can support a wide variety of programs.

Helping Animals

Born Free USA & Primate Sanctuary

This is a sanctuary near San Antonio, TX full of rescued monkeys.
They even have an Amazon wishlist and it’s fun to pick out things for them.

Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary

The 1st plant-based animal rescue and sanctuary in Colombia.

Helping the Environment

Environment Texas

They really get things done and advocate for people and the environment here in Texas.

Plastic Oceans

An advocacy and education organization hoping to bring real change via reducing plastic pollution and creating sustainable communities.
